Training Specialist

Travelling Corporate Trainer responsible for presenting classes at corporate branch offices located on the East coast. The primary content areas for training are mortgage banking, computer software applications, and human resource topics. Classes range from one hour to five days in length, and class sizes range from one to 25 participants.

Additional responsibilities include co-ordinating with operations and production managers to determine training needs, as well as making travel arrangements and scheduling meeting space to fulfill these needs. All training sessions are assessed, evaluated, and modified as necessary. Further duties include writing new training materials including hand-outs and manuals, researching emerging topics and attending courses to learn subjects which are to be presented. Typical travel time is approximately 10 business days per month.

Courses taught include: Introduction to Mortgage Banking, Mortgage Compliance, Successful Sales Strategies, Time Management, New Employee Orientation, Laptop Orientation, and instruction in Microsoft Office suite products.
